Wow, we have a full day of activities going on today! Here's a breakdown of everything going on:
11:00am-10:00pm: Our neighbors up in Queen Village, Lucky's Last Chance, will be here all day serving up lunch and dinner! Look for a menu full of their awesome brunch and burger options.
We can't believe it's already been a year since we first opened the garage doors here in Pennsport. It's been an incredible year and we can't thank our neighbors and customers enough for all their support.
To celebrate our first full year, we're going to have a day full of events. From noon-5:00 we'll have activities for the kids and dogs we've come to love so much over the year. We're lining up activities now, so stay tuned for details.
We'll have some of our favorite food trucks here, so far including Mom Mom's Polish Kitchen, and we'll have Separatist Beer Project here pouring beer and Chaddsford Winery serving wine!
Then in the evening, we're having our monthly comedy show! Check out our next post for more details on the comedy.
French Pressed Comedy is back and this time it's also our 1 year anniversary! We have an awesome lineup of comedians waiting to perform for you, including the 2018 winner of Philly's Phunniest! We'll have Mom Mom's Polish Kitchen here serving up some of the best pirogies and other Polish treats in the city and we'll have a brewery per usual serving beer. Stay tuned for more details on that and check out our previous event listing for more details on our anniversary celebration.

Our monthly wine class returns with a focus on cheese. Rocco from DiBruno Bros will be here along with our wine educator David Snyder for an evening filled with wine and cheese pairings preparing you to be an expert pairer for your next dinner party. Details and tickets coming soon.
Our friends at South Philly Smokhaus are coming back for one final pop-up here at Hermans. Don't miss your last chance to get some of their awesome BBQ before they open their brick and mortar location in the Bok Building later this Summer. Joining them will be one of the Philly areas best breweries, Neshaminy Creek!
Neshaminy Creek will be pouring pints of JAWN, Coffee JAWN, Keep it on the DL and Churchville Lager and the beer will start pouring by 4:00, so come early and have some beers before the BBQ starts.

Join David Snyder, the wine director of Fond, at Herman's Coffee on Friday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. as we explore some of the fun and unique Rosés the world has to offer.

This Saturday, Separatist Beer Project is coming back for another pop-up. They'll be here starting at noon with an assortment of new can releases. Stop by and grab a 4-pack to go or have a few pints here.
Starting at 6:30pm, we'll have Chef Chris Paul here with a special dinner menu. Chef Paul will bring an assortment of dinner options including: Fish & Chips, Mahi Mahi Tostadas, Maitaki Mushroom Empanadas, Curry Chicken Doubles, Grilled Corn and more. It'll be the perfect Summer evening menu.
If that's not enough, we'll also have Matt Hendrix here hosting a preview of his upcoming board game cafe, Thirsty Dice! He'll be bringing along a ton of board games of every variety for some free play. He'll help teach you the rules if necessary and give you the full Thirsty Dice preview experience.
We're welcoming a new food truck to Herman's for the first time. The Everything We Eat truck just started hitting the road in Philadelphia and we're super excited to host them. Here's the menu:

Our first comedy night was such a success, we're bringing it back as a monthly event. Each month will have a new lineup of comics hosted by Tyler Wolf. On top of comedy, we'll also have local brewery, Stickman Brews here serving beer throughout the show and Dr. Wutzit's Wonderballs here serving up snacks. Cover for the comedy show is $5 and beer and food will be PAYG. The cafe will also be open for anyone who wants a coffee or tea beverage.

We have a full day of fun lined up at Herman's. We'll have our friends from Stickman Brews here all day serving up an assortment of beers. They'll have two beers on draft (expect a sessional lager and a hazy IPA) and four limited-release cans available to drink here at the cafe or to take home.
Also, Dr. Wutzit's Wonder Balls will be here for lunch service to showcase their ever-changing menu of fried balls. Here's a look at some of the options that might be available:

It's back! Last month we hosted the always awesome South Philly Smokehaus for an evening of BBQ and beer. We had thunderstorms that night but people still lined up for Eric's acclaimed BBQ, so we're bringing it back again and this time the weather looks to be warm and sunny so the garage doors will all be open!
Menu for the BBQ is below and joining South Philly Smokehaus will be local favorite, Weyerbacher Brewing Company. Mike will be here from the brewery pouring beers all night. We'll post a beer list as soon as we have it. BBQ and Beer will all be PAYG. BBQ options are all first-come-first-served so come early if you have your eye on something in particular.
It's the Summer so why not start your weekend early. Last time we had the Thai food cart, Flaming Basil, they were such a hit we had to bring them back as soon as possible, so we're doing a special Friday lunch. The cart will be parked outside Hermans from around 11:00am-5:00pm serving up their menu of classic Thai and Laos dishes.
Also while they're here, we'll have Weyerbacher Brewery setup starting at noon! THey'll have a couple beers on draft as well as some canned options. Beers will be available to drink here or to take home with you. Weyerbacher will be staying here straight through our pop-up BBQ dinner with South Philly Smokehaus which starts at 6:30.
We're excited to host Flaming Basil for the first time. The Thai food cart is making their inaugural trip to Herman's and you won't want to miss it. Here's the menu:

Our friend Matt Hendricks is opening up a board game cafe in Philadelphia this Summer called Thirsty Dice and we're super excited to see this passion project of his come to fruition. Being we can't wait for the cafe itself to open, we're hosting Matt here at Herman's for an afternoon of coffee and boardgames. Matt will be bringing some of his favorites along for free play and will even help walk everyone through directions on how to play each of them if needed. Come for Sunday Brunch and stay to spend the Spring afternoon with us playing games.
We're having a special lunch pop-up with our neighbors 2 Street Sammies. Nate will be pulling his cart up to Herman's for Saturday lunch. If you've never had one of Nate's sandwiches, you're missing out. Plus he donates a portion of all his proceeds to help support Philabundance!
